About Me
Had you asked me a few years earlier if I would be able to see myself as a professional photographer - I would have clearly looked behind me. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication engineering and I am a project manager in the Energy industry in Chennai, India.
I was introduced to traveling at an early age. The inclination towards capturing the natural world was very innate; it developed through the years without having to be artificially infused.
Documenting the places that I traveled to through photographs challenged the perspective about how I perceived the world around us. The natural world and light - at no point, makes you feel like you have got enough out of it.
The inclination towards geology, cryosphere, biodiversity, and studying human relationships with its environment, has always given me the urge to share crucial stories that enunciate the impact of climate change in unexplored mountain communities of India and to seek conservational measures.
I specialize in fashion and conceptual commercial photoshoots. And, I am slowly starting to explore documentary filmmaking. My works have been published on BBC, 500px, Canon India, Nestle, Health and fashion magazine, and Chennai Photo Biennale. I have some of my landscapes and fine artworks displayed at various art galleries in the city.
